Head Pastor
Thom M. Shuman has served as a pastor in Cincinnati and overseas and has led Galloway Presbyterian Church since 2010. He is a husband, father, author, and associate member of the Iona Community.
His books include The Jesse Tree, Gobsmacked, and The Soft Petals of Grace from Wild Goose Publications.
Music Director
Spencer Solberg has served as Music Director at Galloway Presbyterian Church since 2025, where he leads congregational hymn singing, coordinates special music for each service, and oversees the church’s livestream and presentation systems. Spencer grew up in Wisconsin and holds a degree in Commercial Music from Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio.
He performs with The Carter Bennett Band, a Dayton-based six-piece group, where he sings and plays keyboards and percussion. Spencer also serves as a keyboard player at Shadowbox Live in Columbus. In addition to performing, he teaches private music lessons and works in stagehand and audio production throughout the Columbus area.
